2.2 Data Collected Automatically

Analytics data (Google Analytics) We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our Site. Google Analytics collects data including your IP address (anonymised), browser type, operating system, pages visited, time on site, and referral source. Advertising data (Google Ad Manager) We use Google Ad Manager to display advertisements. Google Ad Manager and its partners may collect data about your device, browser, and browsing behaviour to serve relevant advertisements. This may involve the use of cookies and device identifiers. You can opt out of personalised advertising via Google’s ad settings at adssettings.google.com.

Advertising data is processed on the basis of your consent, where required by applicable law, or our legitimate interest in funding editorial operations.

Server logs Our hosting infrastructure automatically records standard server log data including IP addresses, request timestamps, pages requested, and HTTP status codes. Server logs are retained for 30 days and used solely for security and operational purposes.

6. International Data Transfers

Google LLC is based in the United States. Where personal data is transferred to the US, such transfers are protected by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and recognised under Swiss law.
